Thrive ATAP

ATAP holds annual seminars called THRIVE where attendees receive training that promises growth for themselves and their business. Request: Create a logo that combines the current ATAP logo and a new event logo. UPDATE: A year later the client requested another logo that aligns with the Thrive logo, but for a new seminar called REFRESH.

OPPORTUNITY

The request to create a new event logo built on to their existing logo was a unique one! It was important to the client that the logo embodied feelings of growth (thriving!) while maintaining a seamless aesthetic with the ATAP logo.

Solution

Thriving feels very kinetic to me, so I worked with repeating elements to imply movement along with the use of diagonal lines like a chart displaying growth. Yellow was chosen to compliment their existing colours, and reference sunshine (source and growth of life).

The Refresh logo kept with the essential repeating elements to painting a cohesive look between the seminars, but took inspiration from water and waves to capture the feeling of REFRESH.

Result

Every element in the final design was intentionally chosen to either compliment the existing ATAP logo, or embody the feeling of THRIVE.
